Booth Cup Round 2 qualifying on Saturday saw Ross Valentine (74) as the Gross Qualifier. Ross beat Barry Hall on a count-back for this position. The net qualifiers were Nick Lovegrove (67) and Cameron Rope (68).

 

Barry is the reserve in the gross division, while James Marshall (69) and David Smith (70) are the net division reserves for the final in November. Qualification is confirmed for players after they complete 2 qualifying rounds.

 

The Round 1 qualifiers are Chris Goad (gross), Paul Hurtley and Dean Palmer (net).

 

The Booth Cup is one of our most prestigious trophies and one of the most difficult to qualify for.  There are only 12 players in the final in late November - 4 gross qualifiers and 8 net qualifiers.  The final is over 36-holes decided on net medal.
